From day one, it was always going to be us.
Day One Plumbing Company was not a business plan. It was thirty-something years of friendship, competition and craft that eventually needed a name.
WHO WE ARE
Two boys born and raised in Harlem.
We met in junior high school in '91 on curriculum day and instantly became Day One friends. We graduated high school in '97. From day one, as a team, we competed in sports, we traveled, and we worked in the plumbing industry for more than twenty years.
Fast forward, after thirty-something years of building a strong foundation and a solid friendship, we formed Day One Plumbing Company — a company shaped by everything the trade taught us and everything the friendship demanded of us.
Our mission is to establish a relationship with customers for life through our passion and loyalty, building a superior quality product in plumbing — adapting to the needs of our customers, colleagues, business partners and the communities where we work.
The Road Here
1991
Two Harlem boys meet on curriculum day in junior high and become Day One friends.
2000s
Two decades in the industry — commercial high-rise, residential service, gas and mechanical
1997
Graduation. Sports, travel and the first steps into the plumbing trade together.
Today
Day One Plumbing Company: licensed, insured, and built on a thirty-year foundation.
